    How it works

    An AI compliance team,
with a human signature on the work.

The same named team works behind both products. The difference is how much you drive, and whether a human reviewer QA-checks the work before it reaches you. Either way, your senior manager makes the call.

    The loop

Drafted by the team, checked by Reggie, signed by you.

To make it concrete, one real FCA final notice travels the loop below, the way the team would run it for your firm.

    1. The FCA publishes.

Final notices, consultations, Dear CEO letters. Neil reads every FCA publication overnight, keeps a running enforcement watch for firms in your sector, and surfaces only the changes that actually touch your permissions.

When the FCA consults on price-and-value expectations under Consumer Duty, I flag that two of your retail products sit inside the proposed scope — and offer to draft an impact summary.

      Neil · Regulatory Horizon Analyst

    2. The specialist drafts.

Twenty-six named specialists watch your obligations across AML, conduct, prudential, filings and more. When something needs doing, the relevant specialist drafts it: a filing, a register entry, a policy update, a horizon note. Every draft carries its evidence.

Based on SYSC 6.1.1R and the Financial Crime Guide §3, I've drafted an update to the Compliance Policy §3 that tightens the CDD refresh cycle. Awaiting your approval.

    3. Reggie checks and challenges.

Reggie, the orchestrator, validates each draft against the live handbook and the firm's own context. Citations are checked for existence before anything is surfaced. Weak or ungrounded work is held back, not shown to you.

    4. Your SMF signs.

You receive finished, defensible work with the trail behind it. Your senior manager reviews, decides, and signs. Your firm stays the sole accountable party for every regulated decision.

Adopt · sign · audit trail

Behind the signature: the Handbook references the team cited, the reasoning, the inputs, and a snapshot you can revert.

Every draft arrives with the specialist's own read on it, so you know which ones need your attention before you give it.

    Where the line sits

The software does the work. You hold the responsibility.

RegForge is a software and managed-service provider outside the FCA perimeter. We are not authorised by the FCA and we never hold a senior management function; the person who carries that function is always someone inside your firm. On Managed, the named reviewer's QA check is a quality gate on the team's work-product, not a regulated approval.

That is not a limitation we work around. It is the design. Keeping accountability with your senior manager is what makes the rest of the model honest: we can do the heavy lifting precisely because the final judgment, and the responsibility for it, stays with you.

Your senior manager reviews, adopts and signs every regulated decision and remains the sole accountable person. Behind each action sits an append-only audit trail: the Handbook references the team cited, the reasoning, and the inputs, and low-risk actions can be reverted within 24 hours. For data residency and security, see the security page.
